What types of travel services does Go Travel The States offer?
Go Travel The States offers customized travel itinerary planning for the United States of America, as well as optional services such as packing lists, educational supplements for families, scavenger hunt cards for kids, and memory book creations.
Does Go Travel The States do bookings and reservations?
Not at this time. Go Travel the States will create a carefully customized trip plan for you and offer suggestions for dining and lodging (depending on the package purchased), but you retain the control of bookings and reservations.
What is Go Travel The States’s cancellation policy?
Once an itinerary package is purchased, you may get a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. After that, it is non-refundable. This is because a significant amount of time goes into researching and creating the itinerary for your trip and the work begins right away.
What happens if I need to cancel my trip?
That happens! The itinerary created for you can be used on different dates for a future trip. Since you have made your own bookings and reservations, you can cancel them at any time based on the cancellation policies of the third party providers.
How long will it take to plan my trip?
The time it takes to plan your trip will depend on many factors – trip length, package level, number of people in your travel group, and various add-ons. Generally, you can plan on anywhere from two weeks to two months (longer for more complex trips).
***It is advisable to have your plans created as far in advance as possible (6 months+) to accommodate reservation windows and ensure you get the bookings you need.
Why not just use AI to plan my trip?
AI is a very useful tool, but as we are seeing….it does have its drawbacks. Go Travel the States leverages human insight and creativity to offer more nuanced and personalized travel experiences than AI-only solutions.
Oh no! I bought my itinerary package, but now realize I want to upgrade. What do I do?
That’s ok! As long as we are early in the planning process, we can change your package. Just contact me and we’ll go from there.
