Hi, I’m Kristin — founder of Go Travel the States.

What started as a personal goal to visit all 50 states with my family before our kids graduated high school has turned into something much bigger: a passion-driven business helping others explore the beauty and diversity of the United States.

From coastlines to canyons, big cities to backroads, I’ve spent years discovering the hidden gems and unforgettable moments that make each trip special. Along the way, I realized that not everyone loves the travel planning process like I do — and that’s where I come in.

I specialize in creating personalized, well-researched itineraries that go beyond the obvious. Whether it’s a sunrise hike in a National Park, a spontaneous roadside stop, or a meal at a tiny local diner you’ll rave about for years, I focus on the moments that turn a good trip into a great one.

Blending my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) — along with over 20 years of teaching experience — I bring an intentional, educational lens to the way I design trips. I believe travel is one of the most powerful ways to learn, and I love helping families connect in deeper ways, while turning their adventures into meaningful, memory-rich experiences. (Stay tuned for educational travel resources and trip-planning courses designed for both parents and kids.)

My goal? To make travel easier, more meaningful, and more memorable for families and to create a deep appreciation for each of our states. If you’re ready to explore the U.S. with curiosity and a sense of adventure, you’re in the right place.

Let’s plan your next journey — together.
